The annual EUMA international conference brings together more than 250 Management Assistants from all over Europe for tailor-made training and workshops. This year, we are honoured to have some wonderful guest speakers and workshop leaders. So, take the opportunity to see them live and enjoy a programme which has been carefully put together by, and for, Management Assistants.
In the morning sessions we will look at how the business world is dealing with the present economic situation:
- at a European level with Catherine Day, Secretary General of the European Commission;
- at a corporate level with Wouter De Ploey, Senior Partner at McKinsey & Company;
- at company level with CEO Ignace Van Doorselaere from Van de Velde, the company behind the successful haute lingerie brands of Marie-Jo, Prima Donna & Agnes Sarda;
- at our job's level with a debate with top Management Assistants, moderated by Frieda Van Wijck, a well-known Flemish journalist and broadcaster.
Following the workshops in the afternoon, the conference day will finish with futurologist and trend watcher, Herman Konings, who will talk about the "Age of Latte Macchiato".
Let's take a closer look at the workshops in the afternoon - delegates will be able to attend 2 of the following sessions:
- Discover the Path to Mastery - by motivational speaker and Olympic Gold Medal winner, Robert Van de Walle;
- From Stress to Wellness - by dynamic professional trainer, Marilyn Vanbesien;
- Norms & Values: how to make choices in your career - by Dennis Pedersen, HR Director at Genzyme;
- Leave the Office with more Energy - by nutritionist Carolyn Moody;
- Developing a Business Partnership with your Manager - workshop leader to be confirmed.
These dynamic and interactive workshops (in groups of a maximum of 50 people) are the ideal opportunity to hone your personal skills, to exchange views with your peers and to look over the fence at what's happening in the business world today, and in our profession in particular. Learn from the best!
